Jakaeden is currently studying for his MSc in Kinesiology degree at the University of Regina. He spent four seasons as an assistant coach with the Cougar women‘s volleyball team while completing his undergraduate degree in kinesiology. Jakaeden is a NCCP Trained Performance Coach, NCCP Advanced Development beach coach, and a Level 3 certified referee. His most recent coaching accomplishments have occurred on the beach court, winning three provincial beach medals in the past two seasons and a bronze medal in 2015 at the Western Canada Summer Games.
Jakaeden has been coaching with Team Sask since 2012, attending the NTCC tournament this summer as an asst coach with the 16u team. Following the tournament, he attended the performance coach clinic where he spent time learning from former men’s olympic team head coach with ten coaches from across the country.
